El Pollo Loco proves once and for all that good things come to those who wait with the lasting addition of two sensational new sandwiches to its menu -- the Guacamole Grilled Chicken Sandwich and the Jalapeno Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Both sandwiches begin with a citrus-marinated chicken breast grilled to perfection over open flames by El Pollo Loco’s expert grill masters. The chicken is then placed on an authentic grilled telera roll (Mexican style soft bread used for traditional torta sandwiches) and topped with shredded lettuce and fresh Pico de Gallo. From there the sandwiches each take a distinctive twist. A generous helping of tasty guacamole completes the Guacamole Chicken Sandwich. Sliced jalapenos, Pepper Jack cheese and spicy Southwest sauce kick up the flavor of the Jalapeno Chicken Sandwich.
